Genevieve Launches New Business After Her Own Miraculous Healing

My healing details
On the inside of my leg, there was massive healing going on as well. I placed patches directly near my incision every day. Just three days after surgery, I no longer needed to take the pain medicine because pain had drastically subsided. The nurse checking in on my every day after surgery was shocked when I told her my pain was a lot less and that I didn’t need to take the medicine. She said, “Most people still need the pain medicine three weeks after surgery.” During the next three weeks, I only needed Tylenol to get through some nights when the pain was at its worst. I never took it during the day. I attribute this drastic reduction in pain to the LifeWave patches.

Additionally, when I made my first visit to my physical therapist one week after surgery, she was amazed at the degree of flexion and extension I was able to achieve with my leg. I could stretch it to almost zero degrees. My extension was 6 degrees shy of straight. My flexion was 96 degrees, so just past a right-angle bend in my leg.

According to my physical therapist, this range of motion was remarkable so soon after surgery. Normally, the high amount of swelling combined with the scar tissue starting to develop drastically impedes movement after surgery. While I was vigilant about moving my leg every day, by week three, my extension was -2 degrees, so more than straight—hyper extended!—and my flexion was 132 degrees! I’m part of a Facebook group for tibial plateau fractures and judging by the reports of users sharing their flexion and extension numbers, mine have far surpassed the average. I’m almost eight weeks post-op as I write this and my extension and flexion are almost back to normal. I haven’t even started walking or strength training yet!
