Genevieve’s Awards and Accolades

In 2022, Genevieve Schmitt was named one of the “Top 100 Women in Powersports.” This recognition comes on the heels of several honors over the years by the powersports industry including being part of the “Top 100 Leaders in Powersports” list. Genevieve says, “I never sought out this type of recognition. I simply worked at doing something I love—telling stories of motorcyclists, and spotlighting this amazing sport to those who want to know more. Receiving recognition by my industry peers is validation that the career I poured so much of myself into meant something that will last years after I’m gone.”

“Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time.” 1 Peter 5:6

“I was one of the youngest nominees at 37. This award propelled me to live up to the honor by continuing my work raising awareness of motorcycling. I would go on to create the first presence of women motorcyclists on the internet in 2006 when I founded WomenRidersNow.com. It remains the only online motorcycle magazine today for and about women motorcyclists.”
