Woman Rider magazine was the only national motorcycle magazine serving the fastest growing segment of motorcycling, women, when it published from 2000 to 2004. It had a circulation of 50,000. As the only paid editorial staff member, Genevieve was in charge of all editorial, art and layout design. She is extremely proud to have been associated with this groundbreaking publication.

Woman Rider was launched as a quarterly publication in 2000. In late 2004, corporate economic pressures forced the magazine's demise. Among the readership, Woman Rider was a huge hit with many subscribers expressing deep sadness at the loss of their favorite magazine.

Woman Rider served a niche within a niche. It was clearly ahead of its time. Genevieve continues to serve the women's motorcycling market through her online magazine
WomenRidersNow.com, and through her articles and columns in the leading motorcycle and powersports magazines. As a seasoned female journalist in the motorsports industry, she gets called upon to represent the women's motorcycling community and speak on issue's pertaining to the women's market.

HOW IT ALL STARTED FOR GENEVIEVE:
Genevieve became involved in motorcycling in 1990 through a television segment she was producing for Good Morning America. The story was on women and motorcycling. She was hooked. She learned how to ride and quickly became involved in the industry by contributing articles on a freelance basis to various national motorcycle magazines all while she was working her full-time job producing news magazine segments for television.

In 1998, Genevieve left her producing job with the syndicated show EXTRA to pursue a freelance on-air job with the weekly motorcycle show "Bike Week" airing on Speedvision. At the same time, she was offered the opportunity to turn around a fledgling 15-year-old women's motorcycle magazine called Asphalt Angels. She quickly learned how to be an editor of a national magazine. In 2000, the magazine was sold to Ehlert Publishing Group and was relaunched as Woman Rider.
